NYC Doggies reserves the right to discontinue services at will. In the event that NYC Doggies must cancel a walking/hiking package, the unused portion will be fully and immediately refunded.

1. Dog Walking Cancellations
  • Walks canceled past 6 PM (or 3 PM on a weekend or a holiday) the day before, will be charged a late cancellation fee equal to 50% of their cost.
  • Walks canceled within 2 hours of their start, will be charged at their full rate.

A Walking Package canceled before its end will incur a 10% cancellation fee. Additionally, all the walks that were provided, along with all the other services that were discounted (i.e. hiking/boarding discounts), will be recalculated at our standard rates. The remaining balance will be reimbursed as follows:

  • Monthly Package: one installment, within a week of the client’s request;
  • Quarterly Package: in two equal installments, at most two weeks apart; the first installment will be paid within a week of the client’s request;

In the event of death or new permanent illness/injury of the dog, packages may be canceled by the client without incurring any fees and the remaining balance will be fully refunded per the above schedule.
In the event of a temporary injury of the dog, that occurred during a hike/walk with us, packages may also be canceled by the client without incurring any fees. The remaining balance will be fully refunded per the above schedule.
In the event of a temporary injury of the dog, that did not occur during a hike/walk with us, canceled packages will incur the appropriate cancellation fee described above.

2. Dog Hiking Cancellation Policy
  • Hikes canceled within less than 48 hours of the hike’s start will be charged a late cancellation fee equal to 50% of their cost.
  • Hikes canceled past 6 PM (or 3 PM on a weekend or a holiday) the day before, will be charged at their full rate.

A Hiking Package canceled before its end date will incur a 10% cancellation fee. Additionally, all the hikes that were provided, along with all the other services that were discounted (i.e. boarding discounts), will be recalculated at our standard rates. The remaining balance will be reimbursed as follows:

  • Monthly Package: one installment, within a week of the client’s request;

3. Boarding Cancellation Policy
  • Boardings canceled within less than 72 hours of their start will be charged a late cancellation fee equal to 50% of their cost.
  • Boardings canceled past 6 PM (or 3 PM on a weekend or a holiday) the day before, will be charged at their full rate.
4. Sleepover Cancellation Policy
  • Sleepovers canceled within less than 48 hours of their start will be charged a late cancellation fee equal to 50% of their cost.
  • Sleepovers canceled past 6 PM (or 3 PM on a weekend or a holiday) the day before, will be charged at their full rate.
